Very interesting technological idea. After first step of lap experiments, which I assume will determine degree of accuracy of paddy fuel-cell power generation/signals to the various variables representing plant health/vitality, methane production etc., in second step I suggest field experiments are conducted in parallel to economic evaluation. All great technical innovations must make economic sense before they can be scaled-up and implemented in real plantations.

Thank you for insightful comments. We will definitely work in our revised proposal about clarifying its technological aspects with figures and models.

Dear, Roshan...Microbial fuel cells is very interesting technology, and if it can be implemented in rural areal with lack of electricity.... that will be very beneficial! Some villages in my home country will be very happy to know more about this tech.

However, you didn't explain further about what's really great from the technology, how it can be implemented in the field, how to maintain the sustainability of this technology implementation, and moreover the cost description. So, it is very interesting but maybe if you give this proposal to the investors they will like "Oh.... I want to know more. I'll invest but mmm... later if I know more info" something like that.

But, again... I would like to say thank you to share this great information to us but in the future I recommend you to explain more details about your proposal.

Good luck!
