Forest restoration is a big topic in Rwanda, with the government supporting planting 30 million trees. This proposal would be strengthened by examining what is already happening and building on that and further considering:
How does this solution address the need for more land for food production?
What are some creative ways to engage communities in more tree planting, and scale this practice by disseminating best practices or associated income generating activities?
Estimate how much CO2 could be sequestered by planting the trees?
