This is an intriguing idea but the proposal lacks costs or project detail. There are likely significant challenges to uptake by commercial tea growers and the economics of the proposed project need to be considered as well. There is not sufficient detail in the proposal to understand if it could be successful and the GHG emission reduction potentials are unclear. With additional work, this could be a valuable project furthering sustainable tea cultivation.
