This is an interesting proposal but the GHG emissions impacts are not estimated, tangible impact at scale is not established, and challenges are not adequately addressed. This proposal demonstrates good community teamwork and makes a lot of sense but remains questionable regarding translating this into major impact although lawns are indeed a huge sink for water and normally net emitters of carbon under traditional maintenance regimes.

This proposal is based on an excellent idea and is well written. Modest budget with attainable goals and potentially high socio-ecologial impact (but modest climate impact). We are pleased to advance this proposal to the next stage.
