DEEP seems to be a particular type of technology but there is no description of the technology nor the difference with more 'conventional' geothermal technologies. Even though the proposal states that this company has spent 14 years developing DEEP, there is no detail assessment of the costs and benefits, except to make reference to a proof of concept application. Spending 14 years developing a technology means that there is clarity on the costs and benefits of its potential implementation. Furthermore, there has to be an alternative analysis to compare this technology to other competing ones; in this case it should be solar, but solar is not mentioned once in the proposal.
