I feel you need to be more specific. One proposed solution is to use lime. When limestone is heated it releases the CO2 which can be captured and reused or stored but the remaining lime can be added to the oceans to provide the chemical balance crustaceans and pteropods need to maintain their shells. One suggested solution is to design a new set of small sized nuclear plants that can be built for heating limestone which creates lime.
