We aim to identify the driving factors operating at both macro and micro level which are contributing towards climate change factors enhancement. We also aim to understand their probable mitigation options. And yes,to address the issue of ecological imbalance we are focusing on Man-Mangrove Interaction (MMI) through stakeholder consultation & considering the existing national & international policies. Our main focus are to achieve the sustainable development goals. If our interested to know more we are ready to share, please let us know if you have any suggestions before final submission.

Application of organic manure and avoiding pesticides, weedicides and using organic ways for farming will help to reduce their investment and maximize their output. Moreover,use of local, salt-tolerant germplasm will contribute towards their long-term conservation will minimize the risk. Thank you very much for your concern about our proposal.

Amitava Aich Feb 28, 2018 12:26 Member 14 \| Share via:	Your proposal is mainly based on conditioning of soil via organic farming,alternative livelihoods and developing SHG and market channels which is need of the hour in the Sundarbans. I will also suggest you to add current diversity status of mangroves in zones as one or several data point in the app. Pl also note and take record of ,condition of embankments.... if made of concrete or brick in that area and also suggest alternative and natural protections for embankment which works. Also upload data of fisherman,NTFP collectors having permit..no.of families depending upon forest.All these should be uploaded in the app.
