| Proposal contributor The aim of my proposal is to determine a mathematical function that takes into account the effect of covering photovoltaic panels. Ie the heat absorbed by the panels and removed from the earth and the atmosphere. We are used to thinking in terms of reducing emissions from fossil fuels when we think of the production of electricity form solar energy. But what can be the reduction of global temperature caused by the effect of covering panels? If the planet was entirely covered with photovoltaic panels would have a different temperature than the current one? In my opinion it because that part of solar energy to produce electricity does not warm the soil and the atmosphere. The determination of any such benefit will favor solar power compared to other form of alternative energy? |
