Pitch

use treated wastewater from treatment plant for making concrete, using granite waste in making block ,using E waste for saving biodiversity

Description

Summary

Treated water from sewage treatment plants can be used in construction purpose. We can also use stone waste and slurry in making pavement blocks.

We can create GreenE treatment plant using phytorid technique. In this, piece of land is selected where treatment will be done.Special plants like Parthenium hysterophorus(weed) can be used which will carry out treatment  process. In addition to this, layer of gravel and sand will be laid which will also enhance purification process.e-Waste like CD(Compact Discs) can be used in fencing of such treatment plants. This will protect the plant species from attack of aves. When sunlight will fall on CD it will get reflected from all such CD and would meet at a point to form a hot spot thereby warding off the birds. This method do not require any mechanical euipment and extra land henceforth reducing expenses.

I belong to Rajasthan,INDIA,where water as a resource is a great challenge. So concept of dual plumbing will be very fruitful.Especially in big housing societies and institutional areas ,so reclaimed water can be used to a great extent

Category of the action

Reducing emissions from waste management

What actions do you propose?

Increasingt he efficiency of treatment plants.Planning a centralised system of collecting e Waste .Since CD will ward off the birds so there is no need of electrocution techniques, saving biodiversity.

Who will take these actions?

Where will these actions be taken?

India and also all other developing countries

What are other key benefits?

How much will emissions be reduced or sequestered vs. business as usual levels?

What are the proposal’s costs?
