These are interesting points, and certainly something that the industry should consider (and seem to be already considering). We would like to see more information on what the estimated magnitude of impacts in terms of local/regional air quality and climate would be from the tire/brake/plastic production mentioned. The size of the problem needs to be clearer.

Thank you for your submission to the Climate CoLab. The Judges appreciated the basic premise of the proposal, but would like to see more detail on the costs and materials. In addition, they felt more attention could be paid to what actions are proposed, and what impacts they would have.
