Hi Hira,

Good job in the presentation of your proposal! You gave a lot of information to understand how solar energy can be captured and how it can reduce greenhouse gas emissions.

It would be interesting to include in your summary where specifically in the city PV systems could be implemented. You explain it in the actions to be taken, but it'd be interesting to get to know sooner exactly what is the project. Also, maybe you could explain more why you decided to choose buildings as the site in the city to implement the solar technology.

Finally, you present the challenges of integrating solar panels related to the climate conditions of some cities. Do you have a specific idea in which cities you'd like this project to be done?

Thank you again for your proposal!

Hi Hira,

Excellent focus on exponential technologies as photovoltaics. Perhaps it is worth to have a look at Heliatek (a Dresden-based startup in the organic photovoltaics fields with solutions that can produced by role-to-role processes, and foil).

Cheers, and all the best for the competition!

Hi Hira,

I was wondering if you had time to take a look at the comments I've sent you regarding your proposal? There is still time until the end of the challenge, if you were planning on doing some changes or modify anything!

If so, would it be possible to tell me what you have changed, so we can keep track of the evolution of your project?

Don't hesitate if you have any questions.

Thank you!

Hi Hira! I think Masdar City is definitely a great prototype for where you are heading with this idea! With regards to your proposal, did you have any specific city or region in mind to work with first? Also, it is not clear in your proposal if you would like an entire city to be run on just solar power or you are arguing for greater implementation of solar within cities in general? Either way, it would really strengthen your proposal to provide a more refined or detailed action plan of how you want to implement solar capacity in cities. Best of luck!
