The idea of creating an app to identify various emissions impacts has merit; however, the author did not sufficiently demonstrate understanding of the challenges associated with creating such an application nor did they demonstrate how such an app might be constructed and function.
Furthermore, this proposal focuses on the aim of campus self-sufficiency rather than actions that can be taken on campus to mitigate climate change. These two issues may be related, but the proposal is much more focused on the former issue.
