Judge 1:
Transitioning to clean energy is certainly goal that is central to many at MIT. Education, training and hands-on experience with the technologies of clean energy is an example of mens and manus – knowledge accompanied by real-world experience is a powerful combination. It would be very useful to have more detail about how MIT would play this role because it will require the partnership of local entities and larger funding organizations.
Judge 2:
This is an interesting angle, and there are lots of studies supporting the idea that the education of young girls in particular pays dividends when it comes to development. But I just don't see enough details on the logistics of how you plan to implement this idea.
