I think some pretty smart people disagree with you.

Sure, Monk, we can look into your accusations after we prosecute and jail those responsible for the climate mess we are in.  Oh, but first, get some facts to back up your pitch rather than parroting the slogans of dirty-energy apologists.

You need to be clear about what the prosecutable offenses are. B.S. is legal, after all (ask Al Gore). The people that really should be investigated are those who have accepted federal funds and knowingly generated demonstrable falsehoods. You can start with the original trickster, Michael Mann, who should have been prosecuted when the discovery of the undeleted hard disk exposed his fraud.

P.S. You will get nowhere with a rational approach, legal or scientific, in attacking global warming. Environmentalism as understood by the green movement is a religion, not a science, and does not respond scientific argument.

Proof? Look at western religions:

A perfect godhead (Mother Nature); the perfect garden (pre-human earth); human sin (pollution and destruction of the garden); hubris (nuclear energy); damnation (global environmental catastrophe).

This cannot be reasoned with.
