Dear Jan, Thanks so much for beginning your proposal for the Global Climate Action Plan contest of MIT's Climate CoLab. I'm one of the Fellows for this contest, here to serve as a liaison to the CoLab, answer questions, and provide substantive feedback to help strengthen proposals. Fellows will also have a role in the evaluative phase of this contest. In this contest we are asking participants to select from and combine proposals in the various MIT CoLab regional contests, in order to develop a comprehensive global plan. Please look through the proposals in the regional contests to consider which you may select to support your proposal for new and innovative technological solutions, and continue to flesh out the various proposal sections. Thank you for your contributions to the Colab, and looking forward to seeing which proposals you select!

Hi Jan, Just in case you hadn't seen it, based on the content of your proposal I would imagine the Global Apollo Programme would be of considerable interest to you. http://globalapolloprogramme.org/ Cheers, Dustin

Thanks Dustin, There are for sure many similarities between my proposal and the Global Apollo programme. Most notably on the rhetoric level - Race to the Moon / Apollo programme, The major difference is the competitional aspect in my proposal compared to the co-operative approach in the Global Apollo programme. The ultimate goal is the same: to combat climate change.
