Soil for Life Carbon Sequestration Challenge by Earth Guardians

I love this proposal!

The first time I learned about the potential of soil sequestration was shortly after last year's COP. The video you linked in your proposal provides a great visual explanation: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NxqBzrx9yIE

Do you know what it would take to increase soil carbon by 0.4%? I have no idea how easy or difficult that is!

I'm wondering if there are ways to get started right now. Remember the idea someone proposed at the COP21 event this past Wednesday: Turning the tiny flower areas on Pearl Street into tiny food forests? That could be an awesome way to kick things off.
