Dear storyteller29, Thank you very much for your proposal on the “Youth action on climate change” contest. Your proposal was among the 15 which the Fellows pre-selected for the Judges but unfortunately, it didn’t make it to the semi-finals. The creative aspects of it were particularly appreciated by the Judges. Combining that with educational aspects within the context of a school was the proposal’s strongest added value. However, they also noted that using recycled materials as an art form was unlikely to provide a steady and sufficient stream of revenues for the school - which is problematic given the human resources need of such an institution. Moreover, the density that is planned on the proposal (one school per 100 km) seems inadequate to deal with the actual amount of waste that would be received. This clearly limits the climate impact that this otherwise enjoyable proposal would bring. Thanks again for your contribution, and best of luck in participating in future CoLab contests or taking this idea to other avenues! Best, Antoine on behalf of the “Youth action” fellows
