Bonnie, Thanks for joining the U.S. Federal Agencies contest! We appreciate you sharing your ideas with us. We also wanted to let you know that the two fellows, Andrea and myself, will be providing mid-contest feedback in June. Good luck! Ingrid and Andrea

I think that shifting our focus from patching existing systems to one of dedication to the "new Economics of environmental solutions" is fantastic. Couldn't we start to view ourselves as PART of the environment, as a means of escalating the value of work done to improve our role as stewards?

First of all, thank you so much for sharing your ideas with Third Way and the Climate CoLab. We’re really excited to see what great things can happen with these proposals. The two fellows, Ingrid and I, wanted to give each team some constructive feedback while there are still several weeks before the proposal deadlines. These are not official critiques from the judges. Rather, they are intended to help you identify the areas in which your proposals can improve so the judges are likelier to pass you on to the final round. Good luck during the next three weeks! Looking forward to see the final version of the presentation.

Your insight that federal agencies must appropriately message news is crucial. And we agree, it's an important element of mitigating climate change. In its current form, however, we feel that this proposal is a bit incomplete. We are not sure what specific outcome this proposal is expected to achieve, or how to get there. We would also have appreciated a bit more background on the current lack of appropriate messaging you see. We do think that if you further develop this proposal, you should submit it in future Climate CoLab contests, especially in the public attitudes contests as well.
