Pitch

Applying reflective coatings to specific areas to deliberately create temperature gradients will cause increased airflow.

Description

Summary

Coating buildings completely with metalized or brightly colored coatings can be expensive, and undesirable both esthetically and cost-wise. With a coating that is applied in such a way that air at the bottom of a tall building is warmer than air at the top of the building, then the difference in pressure will cause an upward flow of air, increasing the conduction of heat out of the urban area.
