One worldwide problem - how to restore reflectivity and shading to 1960 levels at the same time as reducing carbon emissions requires one program funded by one fund which we all know about because it is advertised in banks and post offices worldwide, and to which we can easily contribute, as is our right, so the actions become THE GREATEST INTERNATIONALLY COOPERATIVE EVENT EVER, the actions being SHADING, SRM and REFORESTATION, and employing the poorest people in the planting work, which most of them know already.
The present disparate climate action projects aren't working, the UNFCCC still maintains that carbon reduction is enough to prevent weather extremes, most scientists cannot agree with Einstein that the simplest solutions are the best, and the thought of spray painting ice bereft rock and rural black tarmac with solar reflective paint is not complicated enough for them.
Once the panel managing A UN CLIMATE TECHNOLOGY AND REFORESTATION PROGRAM is set up, everything will fall into place, and can hardly be objected to because there is no taxation or coercion involved, just the Security Council agreeing to this way forward. No more delay.

I would not expect anything from 'the world's churches'. include community centers instead.

Maybe a voluteer orginazation could get some leftover white paint from building projects that would have other wise been thrown out and use it to paint some roof tops. If it were a social network game where groups could compete for total square footage "whitened" it might even be fun!

You need to design a "conflict of interest-o-meter" to quickly expose the conflict and help calibrate the information. That's the type of thing we want to include in our "Cinderella Energy Project" process.

About the Churches - yes. Why not? There's a conflict right there. A lot of people are suspicious of the Churches, because Churches seem to focus on the afterlife, and have less motivation for a sustainable world. If you want it to end and the Savior to come - well then why try to fix the problems?
The question then is, how do you come up with a "Sustainable Christianity"? I think practicing sustainability as a form of worship (a gift or offering to your Lord) is a nice way to go about it. The Climate Conferences have created a platform to debate amongst the digitized world. But more vulnerable community encountering climate impacts are either ignorant or beyond the reach of digitized world. The conferences are good for brain storming but unison in bringing out knowledge products that are viable, marketable, implementable and sustainable is of utmost importance.

The proposal does not give any action. I agree with that climate conferences should have mandate of measurable outcome to be agreed by all countries by end of these conferences. You can build approach to rope in UN, UNFCCC and other major economies to have these mandate specified for each global level climate conference.
