Promoting engagement and climate action through ongoing, short, funny videos by joylette

Judge 1: This proposal requests support for an ongoing program. The program is grounded in theory (see bibliography) and the one episode I watched was full of data. I didn’t find that show particularly funny or engaging. The key problem in these approaches to “educating the public” is that they don’t get to the viewer who is ready to listen. These are mostly watched by people who agree with the premise. If you want to take shorter showers there are lots of ways to do this. Judge 2: I like this idea. We need to augment climate messaging with messages that are funny, engaging, thoughtful and salient. This will get people's attention more than another appeal to the endangered polar bear.
