Emissions from Coal Mining are a major contributor to Global Warming. However Coal Miners need jobs and are too proud for another government welfare check.
My job was lost to offshoring and I am eligble for retraining. Why not out of work coal workers?

Bob Murphy and 9 States are Suing the EPA over the new CO2 emission standards. Don"t try to resolve this kind of issue in the courts. Have the federal government retrain and relocate these hard working and brave people to work in Geothermal energy projects which produce a minimum of Global warming emissions. The states which could use this energy are shown inhttp://thesolutionsproject.orgstarted by a Civil Engineer at Stanford.
Who will take these actions?
Department of Energy or Department of Interior with a new Climate Change and Job creation mission.
Where will these actions be taken?

- Move and retrain these workers for jobs that are climate friendly.
- Don't give them welfare checks and humiliate them.
- Use CCC or WPA like projects during transition if necessary.
