Description

Summary

Cement is one binder component used in concrete.  In Australia, we use 23 million cubic metres of concrete per annum.  In the world we use in excess of 3 billion cubic metres of concrete per annum.  This drives cement use.  By using cement in a smarter way to meet engineering criteria, we stand to reduce emissions and optimise concretes.  We also then will be able to develop better specifications for new materials we require to supplement binder options for concrete.
