Based on that paragraph, Bismuth Thiols might well be more effective biocides that can address the pipeline corrosion problems caused by the biocides that are currently in use. However, the other elements of the proposal, like who will take the actions, where they will be taken, and what their timeline will be, were not addressed, which makes it difficult to fully evaluate its merits.
