Pitch

The World Health Organization estimates that 4.6 million people die each year from causes directly attributable to air pollution.

Description

Summary

DBD Pod Clusters uses the ionic and excited force fields of Dielectric-Barrier Discharge (DBD) to create the chemical reactions that result in the synthesis and destruction of volatile organic compounds (VOCs), nerve gases, odors, NH3, H2S, NOX, SO2, including the greenhouse gases of methane and carbon dioxide.

Category of the action

Geoengineering

What actions do you propose?

Who will take these actions?

What are the proposal’s costs?

DBD Pod Clusters may be large or small units made of durable composites that may be economically mass produced.

Inside each pod shell is a small power unit consisting of a fan that pulls the outside gases through cut-outs in the pod, where they vortex upward to the dielectric-barrier discharge chamber and are destroyed.
